Gas Heater Service Includes;
– Pre check of heater for signs of overheating or scorch marks
– Conduct a Negative Pressure Test and Carbon Monoxide Spillage Test (with approved testing device) as required by Energy Safe Victoria guidelines.
– Examine Heat Exchanger for metal fatigue and/or cracks
– Check inner workings of the heater including fan, gas control and ignition
– Vacuum all dust from the appliance
– Lubricate internal parts where required / Ensure burner gas pressure is correct and fine tune if required
– Visually inspect flue and cowl to ensure the installation is compliant
– Access pilot assembly, clean and calibrate
– Test thermocouple and reposition if required
